Nicholas Cote is a licensed attorney in Arizona with more than five years of experience as both a litigator and corporate counsel. His legal background gives clients a valuable perspective: he understands how disputes develop, how contracts are tested, and how businesses can reduce legal risk before problems become costly.
A 2021 graduate of the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, Mr. Cote began his career in litigation, handling family law, personal injury, real estate, and civil disputes. His early accomplishments include successfully arguing a child support deviation before the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One, and resolving numerous highly contested divorce matters.
Mr. Cote later handled complex real estate and civil matters involving fraudulent transfers, escrow failures, undisclosed material defects, boundary disputes, and land use compliance. His work helped clients retain homes, protect ownership rights, and move through difficult disputes with a focused legal strategy.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Capital University. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his fiancee and their French bulldog, as well as cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Before founding Cote Law, Nicholas served as corporate counsel for a multi-state retail operator in Arizona. In that role, he assisted in the company’s rapid expansion by leading the drafting and negotiation for commercial leases, managing an expansive real estate portfolio, supporting employment dispute resolution, and assisting with the successful acquisition of several companies.
